Description AL-ANON is for the relatives and friends/associates of alcoholics (may also involve drug addiction). ALATEEN is for 12-19-year olds affected by alcoholics. (It is NOT AA, which is a separate fellowship for alcoholics.) Al-Anon/Alateen is a fellowship to support those affected by the alcoholic.
